Hydrating Hibiscus

Let’s face it – water is boring. Important yes, but boring. It can be difficult to make sure we’re getting enough hydration throughout the day, without getting distracted by other less than healthy options like juices, soft drinks and coffee. But fear not, there’s an answer!

Agua de Jamaica (Jamaican Water), or Hibiscus Tea is a healthy, vibrant tea that can help add the flavour to your daily water intake, without increasing your sugar intake! It’s equally nice served hot or cold and has a slightly tart flavour, very similar to cranberry. It’s also high in vitamin C and antioxidants. I keep a bottle of this in my fridge and on my desk all year round!
