Our next Christmas themed recipe is a little bit decadent: The Chai White Russian. Now, we are going to issue a little bit of fair warning – this cocktail is not one that falls into the healthy category, but if you can’t spoil yourself a little bit at Christmas then what really is the point right?
We are using vodka infused with our Just Chai Me blend to give a sweet and modern twist on a classic creamy cocktail. We’re also using vanilla Tia Maria as our coffee liqueur because chai and vanilla are just made for each other to be honest.
Ingredients
- 2 Tablespoons of Just Chai Me
- 230ml vodka
- 115ml coffee liqueur
- 8 tablespoons heavy cream
- Cinnamon for garnish
Method
Add the vodka and chai to a mason jar and steep for a minimum of two hours. Once the vodka has finished infusing, pour through a strainer to remove the leaves.
Next, add the chai infused vodka, coffee liqueur and about half the cream to a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake vigorously until cold and well combined.
Strain and pour over 4 glasses filled with ice. Then, top with more cream and garnish with cinnamon sticks.
