We’ve put together a handy Ginfusion Bundle, containing 4 of our teas that are perfect for some crazy cocktail related experimentation! If you’re intrigued, but not quite sure what it’s all about, keep reading.

Gin is a staple in many classic cocktails, and has seen a resurgence of popularity in recent years, particularly in the craft distillery scene. Given that gin is already botanical in nature with it’s juniper base and floral notes, it makes a perfect base spirit for some tea infusion experiments. Stronger flavours like Earl Grey and Rooibos work particularly well.

The process really is quite simple – take your gin and pour some into a mason jar or bottle. Add 4 or 5 teaspoons of tea leaves although this will vary depending on the type of tea you are using and how bold you want the flavour to be. Leave it for 24 hours, shaking occasionally throughout the infusion process. Then simply pour the gin through a strainer to take out the leaves, and you’re ready to go!
