Chai Whiskey Sour is the perfect cozy cocktail for cold nights. It’s just the right balance of sweet and sour with a winning twist of chai flavours.
This classic cocktail is a great choice for parties or any time you have a craving for that sweet and sour cocktail flavour that so many people love!
Ingredients:
- 2 oz. Chai Infused Bourbon or Whiskey (directions below)
- 1 oz. lemon juice (approximately 1/2 lemon)
- 1 egg white
- ice
- cinnamon stick or star anise for garnish
Instructions:
- Chai infusion Directions: Place chai tea loose leaf tea in a sachet into a mason jar filled with bourbon. A general ratio is four tablespoons of loose tea (or 4 tea bags) per 750mL bottle of spirit. Allow the tea to steep for 1-2 hours depending on your preferred taste. Remove tea and store in a sealed sterile container for up to 3 weeks.
- Add infused bourbon, lemon juice and egg white to a cocktail shaker and shake well. Add ice and shake well again.
- Strain into a coupe and garnish. Enjoy!
