Iced Ruby

Hibiscus, rosella flowers

On hot summer days you can find me chilling in the shade of a palm tree, and at night you’ll see me at the cocktail bar by the water.

I’m delicious and vibrant, with a flavour as bold as my deep red colour. Made from organic, whole hibiscus petals, with a crisp flavour reminiscent of cranberries. Full of vitamin C and chilled with ice, I am the perfect companion to a hot summer’s day, like those sunglasses you bought on holiday last year and will now never part with. Ruby’s here to look great, taste great and make you feel great too.

Why You’ll Love Iced Ruby

Iced Ruby’s colour is unbelievable but trust us when we tell you it’s 100% au naturel darling. No enhancements needed! Plus, her taste is just as amazing as she looks. This is because she’s made of the highest quality dried hibiscus flowers that have been organically grown in Egypt. Hibiscus tea has been a traditional refreshment throughout the warmer tropical parts of the globe for centuries because of the refreshing flavour and the health benefits found within.

Hidden inside the deep scarlet petals of Iced Ruby are a multitude of health boosting secrets. Regular consumption of hibiscus tea (which is equally nice served hot or cold) can reduce blood pressure and cholesterol, boost your vitamin C Intake, and provide immunity supporting antioxidants.

Beautiful, delicious AND good for you… What’s not to love?

How to Brew Hibiscus Tea

For the best brewing results, add a teaspoon of dried hibiscus leaves for every 250ml of water. Allow the tea to infuse for about 5 minutes, until it becomes a rich red colour. Once it reaches this point it’s best to remove the hibiscus petals or strain, to avoid the flavour staying too far onto the bitter side. If you prefer things a little sweet, feel free to add honey, maple syrup or stevia – we don’t judge here.

Once you’ve removed the flowers, you can either enjoy your Iced Ruby warm immediately, or pop it into the fridge to chill. When the tea is completely cold, serve over ice for an amazing summer alternative to soft drink that will make your tastebuds just as happy as your insides.

By the way – Iced Ruby is also amazing for cocktails. Get creative!
